I’m reading a book about this guy who exacts revenge on people who castrated him by training giant praying mantises to kill.

I have no idea.

I just finished watching The Den, which is about Elizabeth, a sociology major studying people’s webcam habits on a Chat Roulette type site (“Den Chat”) when she witnesses a murder.

The plot isn’t exactly new because it’s pretty much the basis of every single modern horror film about “snuff” ever and the visual style of it, being set on a computer for the most part, isn’t entirely new either (it’s been done in The Collingswood Story, Open Widows, Cybernatural and even Paranormal Activity 4). However it’s still a decent enough film with some good suspense and couple of good jump scares, so long as you can suspend disbelief at lots of the leaps in logic, which might be tricky in places considering it relies on the “realism” angle a fair bit.

when i was around 5 i asked my mom why “some people were different colors” and she said “because god wanted lots of flavors” and let me tell you that was the wrong thing to say because for the next 3 years i thought god ate people when they died
